Miniature Golfing at Sunsplash

Last night, Scott & I went miniature golfing for the first time since we've known each other. Scott refused to take me when we were dating because he thought it was cliche (he wanted to do things that were a little more creative, like taking his TV & a generator to Bridal Veil Falls & watching "The Little Mermaid" with me while in the back of his pickup). So 5ish years later as a married couple, we finally went mini golfing, & we had a blast!
William was very mellow as usual, even while getting whip lash the first few times Scott swung the club: Scott doesn't know his own strength. It's all in the hips.
Tuckered out: Golfing is hard stuff. It was so good to get out of the house & spend some quality time together.
The weather was perfect - plenty warm w/ just a slight breeze - & the sky was beautiful.
No, those are not chopsticks or scissors in my hair - just a beautifully lit windmill behind me. Scott & I are pretty evenly matched when it comes to mini golfing. He beat me by one point (& that's only because I let him;) ). If anyone's ever interested in some competition, we'd love to beat you - we're pretty dang awesome (taking 9 swings to get the ball in the hole's good, right?).

I haven't been to Sunsplash yet. Maybe William can show my girls how to golf. I think they'd like it.

Sounds fun! I love the Little Mermaid date Scott took you on, so cute! Will looks like a natural at golf... he's goin' places!
I love what you're wearing (as always!) and think the "windmill chopsticks" are a hit!

It's Jonathan. We are certainly ready for the challenge. I shall remind you that I played Tiger Woods in high school and Jillian was the 1997 Northern California "Putt Putt" champion. They used to call her "Lil Magician" because she'd always make the ball disappear in the cup. Ok, so maybe only one of those are true but we're still going to enjoy some delicious, creamy, lactose-free ice cream or sorbet. I prefer "loads of dairy" ice cream but out of respect to the golf champ I'll have lactose-free this once. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

It looks like Will is giving Scott some pointers on lining up his shot. If it took 8 tries to get it in the hole, they both need more practice!

Scooter is alert and paying close attention as usual.
